Quite a handful!

Nearly every day as I walk the streets of DC I hear "you've sure got your hands full." When Syd and Si were climbing all over the hand of this statue "The Awakening" I could hardly help myself from snapping this picture.

This statue is located on the southern end of Hains Point just across the Potomac River from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. He is a giant who is emerging from the earth and is HUGE! The kids had so much fun climbing in his mouth, tickling his toes and sliding down his shin.

*I must add, Syd picked out her outfit today. It was SO hot--you gotta love the leggings!

Good job on being the mom who lets her child wear what she wants! I am SO proud of you! And I do think she is adorable and am not judging your parenting abilities at all...Love ya! Have fun in VA Beach this weekend...wish I could be there!

Hands full, yah, we get that a lot too. Never sure if it's supposed to be a compliment, cut or just an observation. :) My folks always say, "Hands full now, hearts full later." The Hill brood is too cute!

For a second I thought Syd had a side ponytail and I thought the leggings were evidence of some eighties themed dress-up day. Cute!
