Okay, so this blog isn't really "mine," but I am the one doing the posting. So today--I am feeling overwhelmed as I look at my house (some of which is still in boxes--since we moved out so someone could live here while we were in DC) and my yard (which is totally overgrown--since no one has done yard work for months). I would like to know what all of the people I love (those of you who read this blog) do when you are feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start.
I am going to take what I think would be my husband's advice and just get working, but there is this little part of me that wants someone to commiserate with me and then give me the "fix it" pep-talk.
So, yes I am soliciting advice to serve as a kick in the pants.
Thanks--Andrea

wow...I feel like that a lot. I pretty much try to tackle one thing at a time and let other tasks fester, like this den of disaster that I am sitting in right now. I will get to organizing it one day :) obviously you have plenty of things to keep you busy throughout the day...the little ones of course. some days all I can do is just take care of the kids! good luck, I am sure you will have everything in order by the end of the week! take it one task at a time!
I go and give myself a 10 minute time out from the kids. Usually in my closet or some weird place where Bae won't find me for a while! Then I pray...for patience for me and obedience for Bailey so that I can accomplish whatever it is that I need to. I love you!

That Drew is such an overachiever. Why don't you call me and I'll come get you and the munchkins and we can avoid all that work. That is how I roll...:)
I figure you should be the one giving out advice! I've been feeling overwhelmed lately too and I think you gotta find what "refuels" you as Kelly says. Whether it's exercise, music, some deep breaths...whatever you need. And finding someone or something to make you laugh is the greatest too! :)
