Happy Happy Birthday Ashley Dear

So today is my little sister Ashley's 27th Birthday! I am SO glad that she was born. She has always served as an inspiration to me and I LOVE being with her.

Here are a few of my favorite memories of her:

1) She used to get out of doing the dishes after Sunday dinner by going and "practicing" the piano--keep in mind she was NOT taking lessons.

2) One year my mom had to buy her red, yellow and blue clothes that all coordinated so that no matter what she pulled out of her drawer she would match (not such a problem now!).

3) She LOVED to make home movies with her friends. Nearly every VHS tape in our parent's home contains some movie or "infomercial" created by Ash.

4) She has a wonderful cackle laugh and her nostrils flair like nothing you have ever seen before!

5) THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE!!! So I was a senior in High School and I was cheering at a basketball game. Prior to the game I had set out my "outfit" for later that night (it was ironed and ready to go). While cheering at the game guess which cute little sophomore girl walks by me and gives me a wink, smile and wave? Oh, Ashley and what was she wearing? My outfit!!!

I really could go on and on, but my favorite thing about Ashley is how kind and good she is to me. She always builds me up and and makes me feel wonderful. She is a dear friend and I am so blessed to have her in my life.

I LOVE YOU ASH!!

*p.s. I won't tell them about the 100 calorie Dorito story!!

This is a picture of me, my brothers Tony and Justin and then my sister Ashley. We look thrilled don't we?

What lucky sisters to have each other. It is the greatest to have a best friend be a sister. This brings back great memories of my sisters as well.

This picture is hilarious! Happy birthday, Ashley! Mae, I remember well your complaints about Ashley getting out of dishes. I guess that's what little sisters are for:)

Ha Ha! I KNEW that the "outfit" would be the story of choice! Too funny!

This was so cute and makes me wish I had a sister growing up! I hope my girls love each other as much. I'm sure there will be a lot of fighting over clothes too - there already is! Oh and LOVE the picture - haha.

I love it! Ash--I think I might have learned that clothes stealing trick from you.

And Sydney is right...Simon does look like Justin.
