Oh just a wee bit LOST!?
So I watched LOST tonight--was SO excited! But to be honest now I am lost! I am not sure if I was doing too many things, but it just wasn't super satisfying for me. Maybe I missed too many of the little details . . . it just seemed to be all about choosing sides and that was it. Wouldn't you expect more of a "cliff-hanger" for a season premiere? Thoughts anyone?

You read my mind! I told Nathan if it wasn't Julia's birthday, we probably would have hosted some sort of LOST party complete with some sort of cheezy party food based on the show. When it was over, I felt like it just didn't have the feeling of a true season premiere, at least not up to LOST standards. It was still fun to watch and we'll continue to watch, even if just to see how many puzzled faces I can muster up in an hour's span of time.
I think the biggest difference for me is that I'm so confused about the goal of the survivors. They want off, now some of them are trying to stay on, but obviously six make it off and then have regrets. I'm frustrated already.
yes...we are also frustrated...I thought we would find out a few things..and not have SO many questions...still, just like the finale!! Greg and I read some of the message boards at abc.com...there was some interesting insight there, a lot of things Greg and I totally missed...like Jack's father was the guy in the rocking chair..and a message board reader slowed down his tv to see what charlie had written on his hand 'they need you' when hurley had his hallucination after he had been arrested..with the glass breaking..water flowing scene...we need to chat..this comment is getting too long...but ditto, we were really bugged!
yeah the previews for next week looked more interesting than the premiere.
Sawyer was there, so I was happy.
I am easy to please I guess..

I was so frustrated! I'm glad I'm on the same wavelength as everyone else. It just seemed like a normal episode where absolutely nothing was answered and more questions were brought up. I expected more out of a season premiere. I will keep watching, though. Thanks for the extra insights from "s & g". I will have to go to the message boards.
