A few years ago I was talking with a good friend of mine. It was spring and daylight savings had just transpired. She had two young children and was EXHAUSTED! Today I seem to find myself in that very same place--it is really sucking my will to live.
This last week was a super busy one for us--which combined with DST is why I find that I am too tired to think straight! Andrew's parents came up to visit (insert the word "WORK" here). They are amazing. I know they love our kids and us, but I think what they love more is a purpose for a visit. A few years ago it was to help us keep Sydney in the backyard by building a 6 foot fence. This year it was to help us get our house ready to sell. They sanded, painted, consulted, decorated, cleaned, lopped (my mother-in-law's favorite thing to do), shopped, filled holes in walls, in fact you name it--they probably did it. I am so grateful for their help! We are hopeful that things go well with the sale.
This week proves to also be a busy one. Andrew will be really busy with preparing for his oral board exam and my dad is coming up to help me finish up some house projects.
I think bedtime tonight will be 7:30 for ALL!

Day light savings is killing me also! My kids did not want to go to bed they were so hyper! To bad, bed time was still 7:30!!!

1/2 marathon what? I am over this house selling stuff... I haven't talked to you in forever (for more than a few minutes). I can't wait to see what Dad and the Hill's helped you do! Your house was darling before, but I am sure the changes will be fun too.
We too are dyeing with daylighe savings... I napped today and now I am wired... call me!
DST is killing me, too. We all went to bed early last night. Good luck with the house. I am sure it looks great. My in-laws have to have a project when they come, too. It is such a blessing!
