The answer is a simple--no.
It's 7:30 am and I have been awake for a few hours now. I am not sure if it's the anticipation of our arrival to our new place today or the fact that we've failed to maintain regular sleep habits since we left Seattle last week.
All is going well. We are currently in Minnesota and so far the trip has been really BEAUTIFUL. I have loved seeing all of the farmland perfectly equipped with red barns and tall silos. It has also been so green--easing me through the transition out of the Emerald City.
The kids have been GREAT! I think they are ready to LAND somewhere though. We've really lacked a normal life since February--when we started making preparations to put the house on the market. Since then it's been an ultra clean house, too many boxes of Annie's bunny pasta and continually interrupted naps. We may not know what to do with ourselves here in a few days when we've finally set up our house.
Just in case you are curious, the job interviews with the two groups in our desired settling city went FABULOUSLY well. A feels like he could be happy with either group and we feel blessed by the promising option of being close to family.
Anyways, there's an update for you!

How excited you must be to almost finally be settled. You guys have had a long few months. I'm so glad to hear your interviews went well. Boise is a wonderful place to live. Who knows where we'll end up, but we definitely loved living in Boise. Where was the other interview? Good luck with everything and enjoy being settled!
I am so thrilled that the interviews went well!! Hooray...and I can't wait to hear about your new digs. You can celebrate with fireworks and all next week...how was that gas bill for the long trip?? yikes...glad the kids behaved!
Not much further to go! I am eager to see pictures of you guys in your new house and new city...although I think all of us in Seattle will be jealous they get to have you guys :( Oh, and my kids fuel of choice is "bunny pasta" too and I'm glad we're not the only ones who call it that. :)
Yay! Keep us posted. I'll send "settling" thought your way.
