I have laughed since I took this picture over TWO weeks ago, that S#1 actually looks like she is wearing a UNIFORM! No, the local Lutheran Church Preschool which she is attending does not mandate plaid skirts and white tops. We actually found the skirt at a Land's End store for a steal and it looks SUPER cute with her black boots (unfortunately not pictured).
School has been going great for her. Her teachers are wonderful and the school is less than FIVE minutes walking distance from our home. I have loved the Christian influence and have been impressed with the information she is retaining from Bible Story time (she has corrected me time and time again when I ask her what the scripture story was that it is BIBLE story!!).
S#2 would love to be there with her, but he's too young, still in diaps and has no idea that his preschool teacher probably wouldn't cuddle him and love him like I do!
p.s. for those of you waiting for a mullet picture--we'll see. A's been feeling a bit mocked since the last post. I do have to say that Eric A's white tail still has me rolling! Thanks Katie for the LAUGH!

Cute picture - love the poem - totally thought it was a uniform! Glad you are happy with the school there.
What fun. I'm not sure why, but that phrase "Today is a wonderful day for I am going away" really stands out. They really do have to leave our sides to learn what's next in life.
