And swim like Michael Phelps, dress up like princesses, catch grasshoppers, chase bunnies, pinch my brother and say things that make my parents laugh!Saturday morning on the way home from the Farmer's Market (which was oh so good! 10-year aged cheddar cheese=HEAVEN for me!) S#1 said something that made us both laugh so hard!
History--we've been listening to "With My Own Two Hands" from the Curious George Soundtrack. One of the phrases is, "I'm gonna help the human race with my own two hands." S#1 was super curious what "human race" meant. I thought I had explained it well until we were driving home on Saturday and she yelled out, "Mom, Dad--look it's a human race!" while pointing to a high school cross country team out for their run. We laughed until we realized we'd hurt her feelings (aww man!). I guess that is one interpretation of human race?
