It's a week away and YES I am counting!

I am a geek. No, I don't have a paper chain hanging in my kitchen so that I can tear off a ring everyday, but I will admit, the opening of a Costco in our area is on my calendar.

Many of you know that I love to eat and fortunately I also love to cook. Along with that I usually enjoy my trips to the grocery store--especially if I can "hire some sanity," as my sister-in-law calls it, and go alone. I will admit the grocery shopping experience here for me has not been that great. It seems like I have to go to four different stores just to find the right items at the right prices. Additionally I have felt all sorts of "budget" guilt when I throw certain items in my cart, that my menu and I can't live without, which I know are so much more reasonably priced at my dear Seattle-based store! So yes, I am creating my list of items I must buy in bulk. This will probably be the first Costco trip where I won't cringe when I see the total--I can hardly wait!

we too are huge costco fans, i am a little embarrassed because anytime anyone asks us where we got this or that, it is always costco, costco or target, i need to branch out :). have fun shopping!

It seems like I am always needing to go to 3 different stores to comoplete my list! if you have hyvee that is a good store. (but they have weird organization)
we recently started going to costco too!

We are big Sam's Club shoppers, but I love and miss Costco! We don't have one very close. The grocery stores here are very expensive and strangely organized as well.

BREAKING DAWN!! I actually really liked it! I read it in like 3 days. It was very different than I thought it would be, but still good. What did you think????

I can't imagine anyone NOT liking Costco! We just rejoined again and it's seriously like the Hallelujah chorus everytime we walk in the doors!

I can just see what's going to be in your cart--cheese galore (cheddar & gorgonzola, I'm predicting), dried cherries, spring mix, applesauce, etc. And I hope you'll add a big bag of chocolate chips to the mix! : )
