We were fortunate to be able to connect with some friends while here in DC. Brooke and Richy were friends of ours from college (Brooke was one of my roommates) and they live relatively close by.
We hit the National Zoo and had fun picnicking while peeking at the pandas. The place where we sat to eat lunch overlooked the famous panda exhibit. The kids quickly finished their food so they could enjoy the bears.
In addition to the zoo, we were able to visit the Washington, D.C. temple. Brooke and Richy watched our kids and we were able to go in and do a session. It's a beautiful temple and we had a great experience there.
